There are a few months during winter and spring when planning an outside event in Florida is a great idea, and there are other months when air conditioning is a party's best friend. When putting together that outside event where nature will play a role in the success of the evening, please be advised that in Florida it gets dark at night. Really dark. Especially if you are trying to eat filet mignon.

Outside lighting can come in very handy when the sun sets at 6:45 pm but you are not serving dinner until 7:30 pm : )
